Hear from students and parents

  • "I had the opportunity to hang out with my friend, learn about dissection, and even stick my finger in a heart! I learned the names of organs and how they work. I made new friends and absorbed a whole term's worth of science knowledge in just one day!"

    John (10 yrs)

  • "My son thoroughly enjoyed attending the 'Doctor for a Day' session during the winter holidays. Initially, he was nervous (and so was I) about trying something new, but he came back brimming with stories and excitement about what he had learned and experienced. The session was both informative (he still surprises us with facts he remembers months later) and enjoyable (he loved the friendships and group activities). Most importantly, it sparked his curiosity to explore a wide range of new subjects. Thanks for providing such a fantastic session, and he's eagerly looking forward to the next holiday program."

Victoria (Mum of 10 yr old)

  • "Dr Velu is a great teacher! - he did many interesting activities that taught me how to problem solve. I had to work in groups, make things and find solutions. It was a fun day with some awesome activities."

Student (9 yrs - Survivor Quest series)

  • "Both my sons (12 and 9 yrs old) attended the Survivor's Island STEM workshop held in Oct 23. They had such a great time working in groups through the challenges and learnt a great deal of fun things from Dr Velu in a day. They are now looking forward to attending the next workshop! I was so pleased to hear their feedback and definitely would recommend the holiday workshops to anyone considering. Interactive, fun and enriching workshops all round!"
